Have you ever met someone who really changed your life?

Or probably the more important question is, would you recognise the person who will change your life if you met them just now?

I’ve been lucky in so many ways. To be introduced to many wonderful people with extraordinary stories, powerful beliefs and tenacity to change the world.

Yet my real transformation took place over breakfast in a Crowne Plaza hotel in Felbridge near Gatwick airport. With a gent who was attending the Public Speaker’s University that I was coaching at.

He was well dressed, tanned and chiselled. The look of someone who clearly worked out and I would probably label at first sight a “gym nut”.

As it turned out, looks can be deceiving, he had owned businesses and was in the process of getting his next venture off the ground. The thing was he hadn’t always looked the way he did. His frame used to carry much greater weight. He took a different approach than the more traditional methods available and was working with the best online coach available. This allowed him the freedom and flexibility necessary to achieve his desired results for himself and for his business.

After a brief conversation with his coach, it was clear that I had found my solution. And it was so much more than “eat less and move more”. It was a state of mind. I had to lend my highest values of my family, friends and clients to my own transformation.
